These certifications are recognized worldwide and were developed to create a standardized process for measuring and certifying the level of connectivity in buildings and Multidwelling units (MDUs). The direct benefits are not only in the ability to attract and retain tenants who will benefit from optimized systems, technology and internet access, but also in the increased rental value of a property.

WiredScore and SmartScore are complementary to other industry standards, such as LEED and WELL, and have created alignment with these certifications that major owners are adopting as part of their ESG (environmental, social, governance) strategy.

Both WiredScore and SmartScore certifications have five levels (Under Certification, Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) determined by the number of points earned for each measured criteria. Successful completion of the certifications demonstrates the facility owner or operator's commitment to providing effective, consistent and exceptional smart building experiences and secure connections to the digital world.
